Neil H. Stollman, MD, FACG, currently Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, CA, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Stollman has published his work in journals such as Lancet, Gastroenterology, The American Journal of Gastroenterology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology. He has written about such topics as Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) for C. difficile infection, diverticular disease, eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) and Helicobacter pylori transmission and treatment. He has served on the ACG’s Patient Care Committee, Credentials Committee, and Educational Affairs Committee, as well as the AGA’s Research and Clinical Guidelines Committees as well as the Chair of the ACG Board of Governors (and current Trustee). Dr. Stollman received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed a Residency and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York, and his Fellowships in Gastroenterology and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami School of Medicine.
